Smart Urban Solutions represents the real-estate development business of Smart-Holding.
The Company is implementing the Project of Troyitska Square Reconstruction, which embraces an A-class business centre, a food hall, and a two-level underground parking area.
The Project is being implemented in two phases and the first phase includes several stages. The first of them was implemented in 2012 and was timed to the final part of EURO 2012 football championship in Ukraine. Then, improvements in Troyitska Square were made, including the replacement of the pavement surfacing and the construction of an underground parking for 360 cars.
The second stage provides for the development of an underground food hall having a total leasable area of 2,060 square meters.
As part of the second phase of the Project, it is planned to build a 21-storey business centre and related infrastructure.
The reconstruction of Sport Hotel in Troyitska Square became one of the hallmark projects of the Group’s real-estate development business. Sport Hotel was acquired in 2012 at a respective state privatization tender. In 2013, an International Hotel Management Contract was signed with Radisson Hotel Group (formerly The Rezidor Hotel Group). By autumn 2017, all the investment obligations stipulated by the terms and conditions of the facility’s privatization were successfully fulfilled. On 26 September 2017, Smart-Holding and Radisson Hotel Group (formerly The Rezidor Hotel Group) opened the doors of Park Inn by Radisson Kyiv Troyitska Hotel to its visitors.
The project portfolio of Smart Urban Solutions also includes a chain of micro-district format shopping centres with a total leasable area of about 70,000 square meters. Six shopping centres function in four cities of Central and Eastern Ukraine and are operated by East Solution Group.
