-Delegation of Smart Holding headed by the president of company Vadim Novinsky took part in St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, which took place in Saint-Petersburg from 4 till 6 of June, year 2009.

St. Petersburg International Economic Forum is one of the most important world platforms for discussing of urgent problems of world economics development and has informal name of «Russian Davos».

Forum participants have discussed new approaches to the interpretation of the future of international financial institutes, development prospects of banking sections, efficiency of measures took by governments and other sufficient topics of world economics and policy.

Representatives of world political and business elite, leading economists and experts took part in the Forum. The event was visited by the president of Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, deputy chairman of Russian Federation government Sergei Ivanov, representatives of the largest Russian (Norilsk nickel, Renova, Gazprom) and foreign companies (BHP Billiton, Nestle, Intel). Nobel laureate, Doctor Robert Mandell and laureate of Pulitzer Prize, author of bestseller «Capture. World history of fight for oil, money and power» Daniel Ergin addressed to the participants of the Forum.

As general director of Smart Holding Aleksei Pertin said, the participation in St. Petersburg Forum gave rich food for thought of the ways of world economics development: «The most forum participants are sure that our world will never be such as before. Nevertheless, a lot of speeches contained the idea that overcoming the crisis is near at hand».
