On 22 July 2011, three representatives of Smart-Holding were re-elected to the Board of Directors of the British oil and gas company Regal Petroleum plc. at its annual meeting of shareholders.
In particular, the newly re-elected members of the Board of Directors of Regal Petroleum plc are the CEO of Smart-Holding Alexey Pertin, First Deputy CEO of Smart-Holding for Development and Asset Management Alexey Tymofeyev, and First Deputy CEO of Smart-Holding for Finance Denis Rudev.
It was reported that in March 2011, Smart-Holding completed the transaction for acquisition of a controlling stake in Regal Petroleum through its Energees Management Company. According to the Agreement on the relationship with Regal Petroleum plc signed between Smart-Holding and Energees Investments in March 2011, Smart-Holding will be represented in the Board of Directors of Regal Petroleum plc by three directors.
