2012 Commercial Output of Yevpatoria Construction Materials Plant Amounts to 527,000 Tonnes

Yevpatoria Construction Materials Plant (YCMP) curtailed its 2012 commercial output by 6% or 31,000 tonnes vs. the plan, down to 527,000 tonnes. At the same time, the company’s investment into the core production activity rose by 17%.

The company’s investment in purchase of new equipment, regular and capital overhauls of production capacities amounted to more than UAH 1.2 million, which is 17% or UAH 183,000 more than in 2011. In particular, capital overhauls of TGM4A diesel locomotive and YaMZ-7511.10 engine on KrAZ 65055 were performed within the scope of the investment program; the hammer mill and jaw breaker also underwent overhaul; the repair of switch thrower #14 was completed along with the surfacing and road-metalling of 300 meters at railway track #8; the upgrade of crushing and screening equipment is in progress to improve its production capacity; and the automation of surveying works is underway. In 2012, the company performed the attestation of its workplaces.

‘The company is implementing a program for the production optimization, including the measures to improve the labour productivity and quality standards of the output products,’ said Andrey Aleshyn, the Chairman of the Management Board at Yevpatoria Construction Materials Plant.
