Alexey Timofeyev has decided to leave the post of the Chief Executive Officer of Smart-Holding and continue his career outside the company. His employment has been terminated by mutual agreement between the parties. Simultaneously, his powers in the management bodies of the Group’s companies cease to be effective.

The Chairman of the Supervisory Board Alexey Pertin stated: ‘We are grateful to Alexey for his contribution to the company’s development. Under his leadership, efficient anti-crisis operation program for the Group’s assets was developed and implemented, development strategies for some particular businesses were devised.’

Prior to that, from November 2013, he was the Chief Operating Officer of SMART-HOLDING.
Mr. Timofeyev was invited to join SMART-HOLDING in July 2009 in the capacity of Director for Special Projects. Later, he was the first Deputy CEO for Asset Management and Development. Starting from July 2011, he was the director of Smart Energy.
In 2008 and 2009, Mr. Timofeyev was a partner and director of Yaroslavtsev & Partners consulting company.
From July 2007 to January 2008, he was the member of the Management Board at NaftoGaz of Ukraine while occupying the position of Director of Investment and Equity Department of the state-owned oil and gas holding company.
From 2005 to 2007, he held the office of the first Deputy CEO at Concern Geo Alliance.
From 2003 to 2005, Alexey Timofeyev was the Head of Legal Division at Ukrgazvydobuvannya state-owned gas producing company.
His responsibilities included approval of key strategic, investment, financial and HR decisions of the company.
