Kiev, 20 December – Amstor national retail chain expanded its geographical presence having opened its first store of the ‘Supermarket of Taste’ format in the capital of Ukraine.

Kiev, 19 December – Smart-Holding has acquired 25% of shares in Great Station Properties that is a shareholder in the parent company of Frunze NPO. Frunze Machine-Building Science and Production Association (Frunze NPO) is one of the largest machine-building groups in Europe manufacturing equipment for oil, gas, nuclear and chemical industries. Smart-Holding has been offered a buyout option for the controlling stake of Great Station Properties.

Kiev, 30 October – Smart Holding has closed the deal to acquire 96.0635% of shares in PJSC ‘Forum’. The transaction was authorized by the Anti-Monopoly Committee and the National Bank of Ukraine.

Kiev, 24 October – Smart Energy Company developing the energy business line of Smart Holding Group has opened a plant for manufacture of fuel pellets from raw agricultural commodity, Vin-Pellet, in Turbov settlement (Lipovetskiy district of Vinnitsa region).

Kherson Shipyard (KhSY, Kherson, Ukraine), which is a part to Smart Maritime Group, the shipbuilding sub-holding company of Smart-Holding, formally floated out its RST27 design product carrier tanker. This is the first vessel in a series of complete tankers to be manufactured by the shipyard under its contract with SVL Group (Malta). The total contract price amounts to more than USD 50 million.
