Companies of Smart Energy Group transferred 7.3 mln UAH of royalty to budgets of local communities for the first quarter of 2018. In particular, communities of Poltava region received approximately 3 mln UAH and Kharkiv region – 4.3 mln UAH.

At the end of the last year, the Ukrainian parliament reduced the royalty rates for gas production from new wells to 12% and 6% depending on the depth, and pre-approved deregulation for gas producers. In 2017 the Companies of Smart Energy Group paid to budgets and trust funds almost 850 mln UAH, including state budget – 802 mln UAH, and local budgets – 48 mln UAH.

Regal Petroleum increased aggregate rate of hydrocarbons production by 65% at the end of 2017

The aggregate rate of production from the fields of Regal Petroleum plc (part of Smart Energy Group) at the end of 2017 was approximately 2,800 boepd. This compares with an aggregate production rate of approximately 1,700 boepd at the end of 2016, which represents an increase of nearly 65% over the year.
